Birthday Parties
Otago Museum birthday parties are an unforgettable experience full of fun and learning. Everything is taken care of by our experienced and caring staff, ensuring a worry-free day for parents.
We will provide delicious party food (hot chips, popcorn, lollies, drinks and more) and ensure the kids are having the best time with our hands-on themed activities.
There are a variety of activities to choose from to suit your child’s interests, from decorating model sailing ships, to making their own fossils. Each child will get to take home their new creation or skill, guaranteeing your party will be one to remember!
You will be paired with one of our star party presenters who will stay with your party for the entirety of your event; leading children through their chosen craft activity or exploration, and organising the party.
Visit Tūhura and explore the wondrous Tropical Forest with over a thousand butterflies and enjoy the 40+ hands-on interactives in New Zealand’s largest science centre.
Parties run Saturdays or Sundays 10:30am to 12:30pm, or 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
The charge is $27 per child, with one adult free for every four children (meaning a party of ten children will receive two adult’s free entries). Additional adults attending are charged $15 for a Tūhura pass.
The minimum number for a party booking is ten children. Children must be over the age of four years old.
You can count on us to deliver a memorable, action-packed day for your child – so you can sit back and relax!
