Atrium Level 2

Atrium 2 is one of the light-filled, high-ceilinged, marble spaces connecting the Museum’s three floors. Perfect for balls, large functions, cocktail parties, conferences, presentations, and receptions, this is Dunedin’s most sophisticated venue.

The Atrium levels are built around a central space of 14 metres, featuring a beautiful glass art piece; the space is soaring. You can hire both levels, with or without the foyer, or just one.

Floor to ceiling windows looking out to the treetops of the bright green tilia leaves over the sweeping grassy reserve, this is a flawless backdrop for elegant evening events.

We work with a number of interior designers, to ensure the space is just as you envisioned, from dramatic lights and stunning centre-pieces, to quirky creations and fairy lights we can theme the space around your event. We can serve full dinners, cocktails and canapes, or simple morning teas.
